With this commitment, we hereby present you the “Same Day Remittance in Greater China Area” service. For your remittance transactions through SCB accounts in either China or Hong Kong from Taiwan, your money will be remitted into your designated SCB accounts on the same day of the remittance transaction completed.

Terms & Conditions
- Customers should qualify for the relevant conditions of Bank's related remittance requirements such as:
(1) Related information such as remittance account name, address and account number should be filled in clearly; (2) Remittance of large amount must comply with terms stipulated in related domestic laws and the Bank's regulations; (3) For others not specifically spelled out here, they shall follow rules drafted in the account opening general agreement and related account opening documents signed between customers and the Bank. - Services include remittance from SCB account from Taiwan to SCB accounts in China or Hong Kong, or, the former account's acceptance of remittance from the latter account.
- Currency options: this service encompasses currencies including USD, EUR and HKD
- Limits on Account: accounts for both remitting outward and receiving remittance shall be under the same customer's name using the same currency in the Standard Chartered Bank.
- Remittance Time Limits: Customers have to process outward remittance transaction prior to the end of the Bank's business hours (3:00 p.m.) for local branch on normal business days (some of the Bank's business hours during holidays will not be available for this service) so that the capital can be remitted into designated account before 12:00 a.m. of the remittance receiving country's local time. However, remittance into designated account will be postponed one day later if the original receiving day is a national holiday.
- This service is limited to the Bank's over the counter transactions and phone banking transactions.
- For others not specifically spelled out here, they shall follow rules drafted in the account opening general agreement and related account opening documents signed between customers and the Bank.
- The Bank reserves the right to modify or terminate contents or terms of this service at any time. Contents of modification shall follow announcements on the Bank's official website. The Bank's website is www.standardchartered.com.tw.
